Scale Compiz plugin freeze

"Scale" and "Application Switcher" plugin for windows in all workspaces (viewports) freezes.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Initiate the plugin (for example "Super + w")
2) Use the arrows to change from one window to another
3) Repeat step "2" until the system freezes

ps.: It doens't seem related to Nvidia since even with Noveau driver the freeze occur.

Also the bug doesn't occur with "Ring Switcher" neither with "Static Application Switcher".
