For me upgrading to oneiric solved the issue, but please note I am using xubuntu (XFCE). However the upgrade introduced a new compiz issue, whenever I rotate the desktop cube, as soon as the new face settles in place, the windows of the previous face flash on the new face for a split second. Has anyone else noticed this? It's really annoying. If this bug is reported already (on launchpad or any ohter site) please point me to it.
