in my young years I have been using nv drivers from binary file (no packages), they have one disadvantage - I have to reinstall them as soon as I have new kernel (very often in ubuntu). So I gave up. But for sake of testing I am willing to try it. I have different architecture than IA. So I google this ftp: ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/ and now: what the hack is this? Why is there such a mass in drivers versions. And Your 180.13 even is not there!!! Can anybody give me some link explaining what is it verzion 180.x 185.x 190.x etc? What version should I try? Thanks
