I think it is happening since Maverick.

I attached .xsession-errors.old with details of the last crash.

I can't use appport-bug because I am using NVidia driver from nvidia.com but hopefully the log will support my guess.

I am running

Linux 489vx1s-cm 2.6.35-28-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 1 14:39:03 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux
