I agree with hdpq (defectoscopny). I started with ubuntu since 10.04 and was very excited about it, would be advocating to all my friends etc. But with all releases with Unity my frustration is steadily growing to the level that I feel embarrassed of finding myself still trying to cope with all c**p. And I'm not against Unity UI concept, I'm actually loving it. What frustrates me most that it still has major usability issues that not being addressed for years , such as this bug/regression, the video playback and 3D gaming performance, flash video playback etc. I find myself constantly looking for some workarounds and ending up in frustration. Now I'm at the point of considering other Linux distro's or even coming back to Windows (yes, simple things like playing games and watching video were REALLY simple back then)
