A chance i have my USB key...
Capture.png : First boot after installation. OK
Capture-2.png : One boot after, no top and bottom line.
Capture-3.png : If i change theme, bottom line appear, but disappear
next boot.
Capture-6.png : If i change for a large theme a part of top line appear.

Note i see some screen garbage during Gnome start-up, and i notice Gnome
try to use Compiz before falling back into Metacity. This machine is no
more in my home so it is difficult for me to made some more test. I only
unload Compiz package, and now work fine in a association.

My idea:
File .xsession-errors come from a a very poor old machine working fine.
Compiz immediately fall back into Metacity.
My good DELL precision 390 machine work fine using Compiz. And may be
some machines will try Compiz but will fall back into Metacity after
some tests. i.e not immediately ! Sorry i don't have any more
a .xsession-errors of this machine.

We waste time, and Compiz test need not to put video in some unstable
state !
And may be it's a too long work to made all word machines to work
fine...

So if Compiz need one time to fall back into Metacity, we keep this
somewhere in memory and next boot we start directly with Metacity. We
have just to reset this if someone change video component.
