I've noticed a pattern with this. I have 4 desktops, and after suspend/resume:
- windows on the first desktop stay on the first
- windows on the second desktop go to the fourth
- windows on the third desktop go to the first
- windows on the fourth desktop also go to the first

Weird... but perhaps this will be enlightening to someone.
