Maybe Robert should stop messing with bug statuses until he can figure out a way to create a anti-FUUUUUUUUUUUU action when he changes it. Can a Launchpad maintainer help him out? Seriously, this is making me NOT want to submit bug reports through Apport ever again.

You (and everybody around here) are likely to be subscribed to two bugs:
the one you reported originally, and the one that your bug has been
marked as a duplicate of. For example, bug 131679 is the master bug, and
you still have to find the original report you filed. I admit it's not
easy now that there are so many duplicates...
