I am also experiencing this this on an AMD64 system. Gnome desktop environment. I do not believe the window decorator is crashing as pressing F11 twice fixes the display issue. When I disable COMPIZ, the problem goes away. Is there a specific place that does 'per window/application' special operations that can be poked at to try and see if it is a setting that can be tweaked to stop this rather annoying behavior?
