As per TKEP

When Firefox opened cannot see minimisation/ close buttons and it appears to overwrite the drop down ability of the panel.
F11 pressed will get it back to its original state but this has to be done every time when opening firefox.

Running on an Advent Netbook with 8.10.
Only has become a recent problem possibly through updates (Last week) dont remember changing any settings.
