Added a workaround in the bug description. I think it's exactly what Aaron P. of Nvidia was talking about...

WORKAROUND:

Enable "Force full screen redraws (buffer swap) on repaint" in the Workarounds section of CCSM. If you don't have ccsm installed, you can get it by installing package "compizconfig-settings-manager".
