You seem to have managed to switch your driver from fglrx to vesa. Either that or your fglrx is not properly installed. Since compiz doesn't work with the fglrx shipped in gutsy I'm assuming you've also installed the 8.42 one manually. If so you might have missed something and just not noticed until you restarted.
