Bug Description
It's a very strange behaviour and somewhat erratic too.
When I start Gedit, it seems to block the Compiz grid function (window alignment when you drag them to an edge of the screen, presented with orange overlay) for all other windows -- mostly but not always. Gedit window itself I never managed to make trigger the grid.
As soon as I close Gedit, grid triggering is back again. Weird.
It's only appeared in Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal.
