I see the same exact behavior as timothee.

If I unminimize the window before clicking a link in another app, no problems. It's the 'unminimize as a result of being called up by another app' behavior that triggers the bug.

I also see this with thunderbird if it is minimized and I click a "mailto" link on a web page. I do not see it with any other apps, so the behavior seems to be peculiar to mozilla-based stuff.

I just upgraded to xubuntu 13.04, installed compiz, same problem. Also, the problem persists if using gtk-window-decorator, or emerald (compiled from source).

Workarounds posted in previous generations of ubuntu and compiz (such as using the compiz workarounds plugin and enabling or disabling legacy fullscreen support, pushing f11 in firefox, etc.) have no effect on this bug.
