Enhanced Desktop Zoom: Specific Zoom Factor ignored

The setting for Specific Zoom Factor in the Enhanced Desktop Zoom plugin is being ignored using Compiz 1:0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1.4. No matter what I have it set to, it always zooms to the same default values of 1, .5, and .2.
