compiz still broke in today's Hardy update

Bug Description
Please help! I've posted this before, and some have suggested that it is not a Compiz problem. Terminal shows this:
$ compiz

After Compiz attempts to load, the open windows on my screen change, and the min/max close buttons are missing...

Sounds like your missing some of the core plugins. Can you type the following from a terminal shell:
sudo aptitude reinstall compiz- fusion- plugins- main
If that fails, try replacing reinstall with install.
