Thanks for the report Alberto.
This is a symptom of a known problem, namely that snaps shouldn't auto-refresh if there's one of the apps currently running. This is being addressed by https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/wip-refresh-app-awareness/10736. Until this is live for everyone, I'd suggest running:

    snap set core experimental.refresh-app-awareness=true
