This bug is a duplicate of Bug #838739 and the two possibilities to solve the problem are:
- add the libv4l ppa using: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libv4l sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libv4l-0 libv4l-0:i386
- install v4l-utils from oneiric-proposed (version 0.8.5-3ubuntu2). You simply activate the oneiric-proposed tab and run: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libv4l-0 libv4l-0:i386
You'll get a clear image without color distortion.
