I'd similar situation as bierholen. After I upgrade from 6.10 to 7.04, all IDE devices are recognized as serial device, e.g. harddisk becomes "sdaX", dvd-writer becomes "scd0". When I try to burn CD with the build-in program, it can finish writing image file, and burn for a little while (less then 10%). Then, it will report "Error while writing to disc. Try a lower speed.". No matter how slow the speed I choose, it still fails. Here is the spec of my laptop: http://www.stampcomputer.com/products/s26/s26.htm
