(I could reduce 10secs from following times, but have opted not to)

7:27 lubuntu plymouth is seen
8:04 system messages replace plymouth
8:31 Xorg mouse pointer is seen
9:12 lubuntu wallpaper is drawn
by 9:20 the system is fully functional
