When loading on hardware 7 + years or older It seemed that I could not see any desktop links and when trying to use the installer from the K, Gnome menu it would freeze and not load correctly.
Off hand specs for this computer are:
AMD K-6 II
ATI 3D Rage Pro II
Dynatek NIC
64 - 128 Physical MB of RAM
1 Gig of Swap space
5 Gigabyte HDD |

When installer did load correctly, it would get to install packages and freeze halfway during the installation.
