A user here:

I just finished researching this topic, which brought me to this bug thread. (though first to http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.tech.crypto/browse_thread/thread/9c0cc829204487bf )

At what point will the Comodo Certificates be re-instated within Firefox?

From a user's perspective, it's rather frustrating to have to wonder whether or not I can trust a given website -- and I can't imagine what my reaction would have been if I were entirely a [non-techie] layperson, and saw this security error when attempting to ***apply for a job***

The above is site that does verification of identity (and background qualification checks) for prospective employees.

Imagine how many are Firefox users, who are being driven away by the security warning!

Just my two cents.

That being said -- I don't think that security should ever be sacrificed for usability.

Thanks for all your hard work -- I can tell that the Mozilla community has put a great deal of time and energy into this issue.
