Bug Description

Binary package hint: bugzilla

Ubuntu 7.04 x86 Desktop
Bugzilla package 2.22-1-2

Using the default install of bugzilla, the /etc/bugzilla/params file contained the wrong 'urlbase' option.

It was set to "./cgi-bin/bugzilla/" and it should be set to "/cgi-bin/bugzilla".
The period causes the initial page (http://localhost/cgi-bin/bugzilla/index.cgi) to form all it's links as http://localhost/cgi-bin/bugzilla/cgi-bin/bugzilla/index.cgi.

It causes you to not be able to submit forms, login, etc...

Could you explain how the problem was fixed?

I am encountering the same problem on a fresh install of Bugzilla. I am also getting a lot of problems with forms postback not redirecting me to the view page... which I think is probably related.

Okay, I got it fixed.

However it seems that the fix was lost as I am using Unbuntu 8.04 on AMD64 arch.
