WORK AROUND same as #7.
I just ran into this. I had removed a cd by pressing the eject button on the drive. The ejected cd's icon remained on the desktop.
I put my blank cd in. dragged in a few files, hit burn and got stuck on size.
I clicked cancel on the requester (getting size) and then used the right click menu on the desktop to unmount the previously ejected cd.
I then clicked burn again.
Worked.
Seems the bug would really be pressing the eject button on the drive does not unmount the cd from the filesystem.
