However: In
Anwendungen > Hinzufügen/Entfernen
and searching for BOINC only BOINC Mgr and KBOINCSpy is offered. (BTW: In Windows mgr AND client get installed at the same time, and so does the manual installation of 5.4.9 in UBUNTU).

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php offers no separate client.
How can I install the client in addition with "Anwendungen > Hinzufügen/Entfernen"?
