The bug is reproducible in that I have never yet been able to find a device by scanning. However I only have one usb bluetooth dongle to test with so it might be related my hardware but I can connect so the hardware is at least partially functional.
I tried to run the command 'sudo hcidump -XYt > $HOME/hci.log' as requested by apport-collect but my system indicates that hcidump is not a command. I guess I do not have all the hci utilities installed, anyone know what package this is in? Thanks.
