Why are you doing dpkg --purge? In my opinion you should do 'apt-get --purge remove bluez-utils'.

Well, I first simply did it from synaptic : 'Mark for complete removal'.

Then Synaptic failed to remove the package, so I try manually with dpkg. So I am not sure what synaptic does beyhond the scene... apt-get I guess ?

Franck:

It's important what version of bluez packages do you have?

Can you post dpkg -l ?

This should have been fixed in this morning's upload.

Changed in bluez:

I updated, reinstalled bluez-utils and purged again. It worked.

I'm sorry I didn't keep my system in the broken state to help find the problem.

So it is probably solved.

Thanks
