Based on Ubuntu's CVE database, as far as I can tell there is no evidence that any of the security fixes you mention affect Xenial or Yakkety. But I cannot tell for sure, so since you're flagging this as "[Security Fixes]" to be safe I'll treat this as a security bug and defer to the security team.
If you just want the package updated, I suggest you separate security issues (for which presumably you want urgent attention, as otherwise you wouldn't flag it as such) from straightforward and routine updates in the development release.
