I am having problems with the wireless network after a fresh install of Ubuntu.
While it worked in the live system (64bit), it does not work in the install itself: there are no entries for wireless networks in the network manager applet.
Jockey fails to activate the restricted drivers (looks like they were blacklisted from skimming the log).

I then tried removing this package, which failed.

Looks to me like the postrm script should not fail in this case.
