I'm sure sure I understand you correctly. I haven't proposed/posted any patches. My only (UNTESTED) suggestion was to patch modpost.c to bypass the error.

I haven't tested this because I don't use the lowlatency kernel (I might test it given sufficient time though :). modpost is probably part of linux-headers package, but I cannot check right now.
