I have this problem too (or something very much like it). I have recently upgraded to 11.10 and am using banshee version 2.3.2 installed via the ppa.
The problem may be linked to syncing or auto syncing to a mass storage device. When I run without my ear-pod attached it doesn't crash. However, I ran it (without the debug flag but with my ear-pod attached) and got this:
