OK, it seems the plugin is going to be disabled per the ubuntuone-installer plan in bug #833824

But still it remains that this bug will exist when the plugin is enabled via the installer (which will be on the images). dobey tells me that this will not be fixed for release. What should we do here? I guess a release note at the least.
