I tried nto upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to Ubuntu 9.04Beta on my Acer Aspire ONE netbook. I could not get the upgrade to complete.
Error Message: W:Failed to fetch http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/partner/binary-i386/Packages.bz2 Hash Sum mismatch , W:Failed to fetch http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/partner/source/Sources.bz2 Hash Sum mismatch , E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
I do not know how to interpret this error. (I am only a 1/8 Linux geek, I have not learned enough to to be more).
Help would be appreciated, as I would like to upgrade via net as this netbook does not have an optical drive.
