audacity menu icon looks very bad on dark background

Bug Description

Binary package hint: audacity

The audacity menu icon used to have a white background, which was replaced with transparency to look better on dark backgrounds (Bug #2396)

However, the replacement still looks very bad on a dark background (e.g. dust theme) due to its rough, white edges.

Can you please tell me, which version of audacity do you use. Can you append a screenshot of the icon? In audacity 1.3.7-3 I have added an svg icon, which looks better than the xpm icon before (bug #157828).

Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue you are seeing as well as version numbers? I will file upstream and add that information here once I have seen the screenshot, and reproduced using the versions you provide.

Sorry, I didn't see the duplicate. I will add the duplicate because it appears to be the exact same issue. Alex, you can continue conversation of the existing patch in the other bug report.
