In my case, Ardesia draw function doesn't work, or I can't see it working. Ardesia does start, but on the right I see no menu bar. But I do see that Ardesia has it is overlay window working, since via ALT-TAB I can switch windows with it.
I am using 64-bit Ubuntu with Gnome 3.8.
Furthermore, when I log into with Unity, I see Ardesia and a naked menu bar. There is a mouse icon with an Ardesia pointer, but it doesn't draw anything, of it does it is not showing it.
In short, Ardesia on 64-bit, is useless.
