Title:
  VirtualBox installation fails

Status in Aptdaemon:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I tried to install VirtualBox version 3.2.10-66523~Ubuntu~maverick
(virtualbox-3.2) for Ubuntu 10.10 (32 bit version) and i got the following error
message:
There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows
you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related
tasks. Please report this error at http://launchpad.net/aptdaemon/+filebug and
retry.

I run 32 bit Ubuntu 10.10 netbook edition inside of VMWare Player. i got the
installer for Virtual Box at:
  http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
and chose Ubuntu 10.10 ("Maverick Meerkat") I386. my computer is a Emachines
model T5247a and i have an Intel Pentium 4 dual-core E2180 2.00 GHz processor.
the host operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium service pack 2 32 bit.
this is my first time with Linux and I don't know what else to say but the very
first thing i did was download virtual box with Firefox and install it so I
don't think I did anything to screw stuff up. i got a new version from the
software center that seems to work fine.
