Thanks. "Medium" importance for this bug? This seems like the most critical bug I've ever encountered, considering that if I had left my laptop alone to "finish updating" it might have melted and caused a forest fire before I got back :)

Yeah, I think this one deserves a critical status; the fix needs to be in the main repo ASAP.
