"PS : we just have discovered a bug in the 0.97.1 release. This version bugs when trying to send an offline message. For the moment, just do not use that feature, and aMSN should run fine. We are currently fixing it, and hope releasing a second bugfix in a week or two. If you found an other bug in that release, please tell us about it in the forums in order to get it fixed in next bugfix release. Thanks for your support."

Then I think it is best to wait for the next bugfix because this fix of 0.97.1:

"This release also fixes a major critical bug caused by a recent change in the protocol of the MSN servers that prevents all previous releases from connecting to the server."

I think that is important, no?
