I have some problem to import DICOM images in amide 0.9.3-1 and this is due to missing libraries.
It seem that some dependances are missing in amide 0.9.3-1, for example libdcmtk which is required to import DICOM images
See dependencies requirements in natty and oneiric:

the list of dependances is different
The problem may persist with the package amide 1.0 compiled for precise pangolin:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/fr/precise/amide
It results that it's impossible to import some DCOM datasets in amide. Thank you for considering this bug.
