Today removing:

- the uim-qt package due this bug https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/+bug/271101
- the old amarok

then adding the:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu intrepid main universe multiverse restricted

to my Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid software sources

and installing amarok ( amarok2 kde4 ):

sudo apt-get install amarok

Make amarok (kde4) working again.
