I couldn't get my Soundcard working without asoundconf, so I took the one from jaunty as described here.
How can I configure it using the Gnome tools? I couldn't get it working with the gnome tools.

My soundcard is:
00:04.0 Multimedia audio controller: nVidia Corporation CK804 AC'97 Audio Controller (rev a2)
