Comment 3 for bug 971224

Flailing around blindly in hda_analyzer, I've found that I can get sound out of both the top and front speakers. If I change the connection of Node 0x0f from 0x13 to 0x14, I get sound out of all four speakers. Moreover, I can control the volumes independently. Node 0x13 controls the volume of the front speakers and Node 0x14 (which claims to control the headphone volume) controls the top speakers. Set at the same volume, the top speakers seem louder, but this could just be because the top speakers are pointed more directly at my head.

This is all with no options enabled in alsa-base.conf. Both sets of speakers still are missing the bass. I've attached the diff that hda_analyzer gave me.
