I install Ubuntu Feisty yesterday and I was have problem with my sound card snd-hda-intel (Realtek ALC861-VD). Finally, after of search fixed the problem adding to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base the net line:

options snd-cmipci mpu_port=0x330 fm_port=0x388

Now my sound card works,but only the external sound,if I conect a headphone this not works.. searching the answer..

PS: sorry, my bad english is because i speak spanish
