I checked my card
Codec: Analog Devices AD1981
Codec: LSI ID 1040
from the list its:
basic 3-jack (default)
hp HP nx6320
thinkpad Lenovo Thinkpad T60/X60/Z60
toshiba Toshiba U205
The alsa-base file was empty therefore I modified the modprobe.conf file. Restart, no change.
I inserted a line into the alsa-base, restart and now neither the speaker is not working and I can not change back these files, the terminal respond with Permission denied answer.
Than I uninstalled the alsa-driver. No change.
Thanks. I updated the alsa drivers properly, but no change only the headphones worked and the speakers didn't.
I think I have the same problem like these guys here: http:// ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?t=616845
