Bug Description
Release: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Package: kernel (sound)
I have just installed Ubuntu 10.04 on a new Dell ZinoHD. Fully up-to-date. The Zino has two audio output jacks: a headphone jack in the front, and a standard audio output jack in the back of the unit.
The rear audio output does not work - no sound whatsoever. The *front* headphone jack, however, *does* work.
This system also has Windows Vista installed as a dual-boot option. When running Windows Visa, both audio output ports work - which rules out defective hardware.
This problem also affects other Zino users: http://
I am not using the HDMI-based audio output - this problem applies to the analog 3mm output jack.

Thanks.
