comment #74 worked on my VPCEA1S1E, but if you suspend/resume audio stops working.
You have to run manually:
sudo /usr/sbin/hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x19 SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL 0x22
