On my Yoga the patch works also after headphones in/out.

Are you sure your new module is installed correctly?

Maybe place a

> printk(KERN_ALERT "ALS287 PATCH\n");

inside the alc287_fixup_legion_yoga7_speakers function and check afterwards via
dmesg.
