trendzetter's fix does work but for me it did two things that I thought were very interesting. It made HDMI crackle more than Rice Krispies and it made the audio source go up a note and play faster, which made for some very interesting Youtube play backs.
This fix technically works if you absolutely need it, but it does have its own issues.
