distorted sound in oneiric

Bug Description

Since the update to oneiric (supposedly), the sound is heavily distorted (Jack 2). Installing the old version (0.8.4-4build1) again did not change anything.

Are other applications suffering from distorted sound as well? If so, perhaps this is same as Bug #875183?

Thanks for reporting this bug. As there has been no activity on the bug for a long time, I am assuming this is no longer a problem.
Unfortunately, you did not respond to Alexei's question.
From the description, it sound like it was likely to be a local problem on your machine.
If you still have the problem, feel free to report back with the current status.
