I think this is a valid complaint. Why don't you explain how to fix the problem when you mark it "Invalid"?

Do this in the console:
sudo dpkg -P acroread-debian-files acroread acroread-escript

Then install acroread again.

Your problem is caused by using the medibuntu repository, not Ubuntu, so you'd have to file a bug with them. I guess that's why the report is filed as invalid here.
